Testing

Plugins run only inside Notch Monster. A plain browser tab has no host bridge, so notch.ready() never resolves there.

1. npm run watch rebuilds dist/ on every save.
2. In the app, go to Settings → Plugins → Developer mode and turn it on.
3. Click Choose folder…, pick dist/ (the folder with manifest.json), then click Install.
4. Settings → Your widgets → Add a widget → your plugin. It shows a DEV badge.
5. After a rebuild, click ↻ Reload from folder. This serves the files fresh, re-reads the manifest and restarts your frames.

Checklist before submitting

• npm run pack passes.
• Works at minSize, at the default size and at 12×6.
• Looks right in a light theme and in a dark theme.
• Still useful with every permission denied, and no unhandled errors.
• Shows a clear state when offline (if you use network), never an endless spinner.
• Does no work while visibility is false.
• Includes source maps if the code is bundled or minified.
